Introduction for James Glenn

Our next Speaker is a specialist in negotiation and conflict resolution.

James Glenn is the Founder of Negotiation Beyond Conflict - helping people resolve conflict to get what you want. His company demonstrates how to raise and resolve difficult issues by using a range of practical techniques and one, simple method.

James invested 15 years with leading advertising agencies, including directing his own agency. He spent 5 years in marketing with Telstra and a further 5 years with a creative training consultancy teaching business skills to a diverse range of clients throughout Asia Pacific, so he is comfortable in dealing with a wide range of people and personality types. In one form or another he’s been persuading and influencing others for almost 30 years.

His family’s personal circumstances, coupled with his own corporate career, lead him to pursue negotiation skills and conflict resolution. Along the way, he's become an engaging, energetic and provocative speaker. And yet despite being tertiary-qualified, he’s just glad to have “A Degree of Common Sense.”

A keen golfer, he's based in Melbourne and married to Lyn Richardson, his partner of more than 15 years.
